You can upload your writing sample in any format, and link to writing samples hosted elsewhere on the internet. 

Visit the 'Advanced' tab to optionally feature your writing sample on the homepage (a great option for those writing samples that really show off your work). 

You can also hide your publication date in case for those samples that may potentially seem out of date, but are still relevant for marketing your work.
